Seeing the cover of this week’s Toledo Free Press made me think about this song, especially this part of the song, where it says, Goodbye doesn’t mean forever. I was hoping to be able to say good bye to Karl in person, but that didn’t happen.

This would bring the amount of federal dollars for alternative and renewable energy projects in the region to over 50 million dollars since 2002.

We already covered some of the stories written in this week’s Toledo Free Press while discussing the United Way Building decision but there are quite a few more articles of interest, a few I’d like to point out. This week’s Toledo Free Press takes a look at the one year anniversary of EPIC (Engaging People, Inspiring Change). As promised last week, Blog it! Toledo continues with a presidential focus, this time on third party and independent candidates that have blogs, including a presidential candidate here from Ohio, “Average Joe”.

Depending on how you want to use the word “titanic” there are more than a few articles in the Toledo Free Press that fit the bill. First the cover story, UT group has global impact is pretty titanic as far as an impact on more than our community.

As the title of this thread hints to, this week’s Toledo Free Press covers some interesting topics this week. The cover story focuses on the spirit of Christmas or for those feeling a bit more “grinchy” in this article by Scott McKimmy, Christmas season is cheery for some, dreary for others. Michael Miller turns his attention to ‘Dr.
