I actually noticed the new design earlier when I was looking for something there, then just a few moments ago I saw this in the Blade announcing that Sylvania City Council was going to host a demonstration of their new site at their Council Meeting.
Sylvania
State agency director had no legitimate reasons to check Wurzelbacher and more local searches
Now it remains to be seen what will be done about it, but the Inspector General has stated according to the Columbus Dispatch:
Resolution of the Sylvania Merger Issue Is Good
They say the voters are never wrong, and that is certainly the case with the Sylvania merger issue. In this instance the status quo is pretty good. Both Sylvania governments are currently financially sound and providing similar services to their residents. My motivation in pursuing the merger was to secure lower real estate taxes for everyone in both jurisdictions and a lower earned income tax rate in the entire community.
Sylvania Merger – Deception, Dishonesty and Outright Lies
Mayor Craig Stough and the fat cat Sylvania City Council won't leave it alone. Frustrated with stealing township land one small parcel at a time by holding the landowners hostage to water, His Corpulence has decided to try for all the marbles under the guise of a merger between the city of Sylvania and Sylvania Township. He outlines a few of his reasons in a letter to the editor:
Sylvania Township Trustees say no on merger ballot issue
Questions surrounding Sylvania ballot issue…
The topic of should the township of Sylvania be annexed into the City of Sylvania has been one that has been hotly debated for quite a few years. Now, a ballot initiative that did get the right amount of signatures, has been called into question because one of the required township representatives will no longer be a township resident after October 3, 2008. His property will then officially be a part of the City rather than the township.

Toledo Council to look at LCIC…
While two months ago the Mayor stated he was not going to agree to fund LCIC the discussion has continued as to what will be the City’s involvement in LCIC. One of the suggestions would be that the City would give staff to LCIC but the reality is that’s not the same as a financial contribution. Interestingly enough, it appears Sylvania is going to pull a “me too clause”:

I’d be shocked if Mark Wagoner wasn’t appointed too…
Now that the special election for Ohio’s Fifth Congressional seat has ended, the musical chairs begins and today’s Blade will have an article on this topic. The first seat expected to switch will be current Ohio Senator Randy Gardner who will be appointed to Bob Latta’s seat in the House of Representatives. Then, Mark Wagoner would be appointed to the then vacant seat that Randy Gardner held. As Mark Wagoner is quoted in the Blade:
