I am posting a link to a recent article in the Detroit Free Press. One of the most significant issues with which it deals is the issue of term limits for elected officials. I smell another Apology Tour, 2.0. Next stop to kiss the ring of NorCom leader?
In a show of courage today the President normalized relations with the communist country that has been opposed to capitalism and free speech.

I know that this post is politically incorrect, perhaps even naïve. The general public is often blind to the world of giant corporations and the "play" money which are the earnings of thousands of corporate middle and upper management executives. But, I've always enjoyed tilting at windmills.
A recent comment I made to a story on Swampbubbles where I indicated that one way Toledo could afford to boost its police force (and thus help rid itself of the gangs and losers who have brought the City to the brink of Detroitism) is to privatize as many City services as possible.
The Andersons bringing back the giant cheese wheel that was a highlight of the Christmas season at Tiedtke's spurs memories of other Toledo holiday traditions. Here are things I remember--how about you?
*My family would make a seasonal trip downtown to the Bassett Nut Company. The smell of freshly roasted peanuts and cashews was amazing!
For those of you that listen to Rush Limbaugh, you might want to know he tried to fool you today. He did so by taking Sen. Tom Harkin's words out of context. Hopefully you all had the sense to check things out for yourselves before believing everything you heard.
Americans might be the most duped people in the world. December 1, 2014, was designated as "World AIDS Day." What a crock! The White House had a gigantic red ribbon (the HIV symbol) hanging outside of it. Malarkey!
