Media Advisory: Meeting on Toledo Minimum Facility Requirement for Schools
What/Topic: The Toledo Young Republican Club will host an informational meeting on Toledo’s proposed minimum facility requirement for schools located in the city.
Where: West Toledo Branch of the Toledo/Lucas County Public Library, 1320 Sylvania Ave, Toledo, Ohio 43612.
When: October 16, 2008 – 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
The meeting will be organized as a panel discussion with representatives from the Ohio Council of Community Schools, Americans for Prosperity, and the Buckeye Institute.
The discussion will cover the proposed legislation, its effect on the school choice movement, cost to taxpayers, and possible economic ramifications to the area.
The public is invited to this free and informational event and is encouraged to attend with questions for the panelists.
